So yesterday morning I went to get something out of my car only to discover my car was not in the parking lot. My first thought: MY CAR WAS STOLEN!? I live in the freaking suburbs who steals cars out here? Second thought: I definitely parked at the metro station LAST WEEK, then walked home. Sober. My sober self left my car in a parking deck at the metro for.. ohh you know like almost a week? And this, folks, is why we can't have nice things.

Thankfully we found my car, still in its spot with a few tickets. I was afraid the day was going to end up like Dude Where's My Car except instead of 2 cute/funny guys it is frazzled Lindsay and her dog, and instead of being stoned we are stressed and crazy.

So all this to say, things are a little cray right now and are only going to get more bananas over the next few weeks. It's a good crazy- moving into a new house, renovating, wedding planning, bachelorette parties, traveling, all that fun stuff.

SO what I'm trying to say is, Broke and Bougie might have to go on the back burner once in awhile and I would love to have a few guest posts lined up over the next couple of weeks. I am looking for anything having to do with budget friendly lifestyle- dog care, fashion, health/wellness/fitness, wedding planning, blogging tips, things I haven't even thought of?! And I love promoting other blogs so you can self-promote away on the post!

If you're thinking about it shoot me an e-mail asap at brokeandbougieblog@gmail.com with 1-2 sentences about your idea and we'll go from there!

And if you think "wait Lindsay would have asked me if she wanted me to do a guest post" that's not true. At all. I'm awkward and I hate feeling like I'm imposing on people so I don't want to be like "Hey I love your blog you must spend lots of time on it do you mind spending even more time on my blog?"

So let's do this! I'll promote you on all my social networks (~2,500 followers including RSS + Bloglovin + Twitter + Pinterest + FB + Google+) and you get a chance to expand your audience! I'm down for any ideas so let's talk and do this!

    1. Thankfully I had a ride to the parking deck AND the car was where I left it, otherwise there would have been tears/massive meltdown/possible check in to a mental hospital haha

    1. NOOO! That is TERRIBLE though- I would be so mad! At least this could be funny because it was 100% my fault and my car was right where I left it. Man, I'm mad for you!!

  10. I am so glad you found your car! Mine was stolen from the parking lot at work in broad daylight last summer. I literally walked back into the building and asked the first person I saw, "Dude, where's my car?" It became a huge running joke for MONTHS.
