Sneaker Chic (under $20)

Welp it's official! Now that Kate Spade has come out with a line of Keds we can all rest our feet easy and wear sneakers with everything! But since I've never been one to spend more than $30 on anything, these are some of my favorite sneaker chic looks with some bargain sneakers (sidenote: I've never said "sneakers". I say "tennies" but I couldn't think of a catchy phrase involving the word "tennies". I also say "pop" and "cut off"- anyone else?).

My fav looks:

Target has 40 OPTIONS UNDER $20. YES. 40 styles, colors, patterns of awesomely chic sneakers that are $20 or less. Some of my favs are this $12 turquoise Keds-ish pair and this $12 coral pattern pair.

H&M has 13 options under $20. I am ALL about this $7 leopard print pair (pictured above!) and this $7 camo pair.

I like these simple little $12 white ked-ish sneakers from Forever21.

Charlotte Russe has these sweet $12 polka dot keds-ish shoes & these $12 skull & crossbones. And don't judge but I kind of like this $10 folded-over look from Apple Bottoms.

Also I got to attend The DC Ladies  5th Birthday party and FINALLY hang out with my blog crush Jackie from Chronicles of a Dietician. Weird story but Bloglovin suggested I follow her and after a few weeks a put 2 and 2 together and realized we were connected through about 5 million people (she was even roommates with some of my best high school friends...freakishly small world). Jackie is a legit dietitian so her blog has great recipes AND is really informative. Here we are with one of our many friends in common in the photobooth:

  1. I live in flats and tennies! In fact I still have a custom pair of chucks that I break out occasionally. Target shoes are my fave!! I walk in to Target and basically just hand over all of my money.

  2. Such cute looks! The first one is my favorites. I had some "keds" - knock offs from Target and I love them!

  5. I tend to say sneaks. I love Converse sneaks. I have a pair in pink that I love. I love Keds too but I have a hard time finding them.

  9. Love the cute, affordable sneaker finds! It took me awhile to warm up to them but I am pretty hooked on my converse now and just might need to add another pair (or two) to my collection. Great inspiration photos. :)
