One of the hardest parts of clean eating is the planning ahead. Fortunately, I am extremely type A (to the point that I'll most likely enter therapy in the next few years) and love this part of clean eating. It's an excuse to plan even more aspects of life- AND MORE LISTS!! My favorite! Here is how we survived week 1 of clean eating:
Breakfast
Clean Breakfast Quiche
Filling Fruit Smoothie
Lunch
Black Bean Zucchini Quinoa Burgers
Chicken Salad (we used extra chicken breast from Monday's supper and combined it with Arugala, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, and balsamic vinegar)
Leftovers
Snacks
- Cottage Cheese
- Almonds
- Pistachios
- Grapes
- Strawberries
- Applies
- Dark chocolate (72% cacao or more)
Supper
Monday: Greek Chicken with Garbanzo Bean Salad
Tuesday: Garlicy Turkey Burgers with Bruschetta
Wednesday: NY Strip Steak and Broccoli/cauliflour mix (frozen)

This list definitely looks intimidating but we hit Costco for a lot of this stuff, and all of our food is still fresh weeks later because of my food storage research
This looks good, I love how you have it all mapped out for me. And I like silly people :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I want to try to your week 1 plan but don't see a link to the NY Strip Steak/Broccoli meal - is that somewhere else?
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have been trying to follow this, but your grocery list does not add up to your recipes. We used the 1lb of ground turkey for the burgers and did not have 1/2lb for the quiche. We also did not buy arugula or festa cheese for the chicken salad.
ReplyDeleteIt is a garlic clove
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit confused on the grocery list. I went through the recipes and can't seem to match up the recipes and the shopping list completely.
